Health coverage access
Need major medical coverage? Get it through a very part-time job.
Eligible people can join a health research company as a part-time W-2 employee, spend about 15 minutes a month on paid research activities, and enroll in employer-sponsored group health plans, without waiting for open enrollment.
What to consider
Is this a fit for you?
- Best for sole proprietors, 1099 contractors, people losing coverage, and anyone unhappy with Marketplace plan costs or provider choices.
- Research activities take about 15 minutes a month, such as surveys, videos, and logging vitals, and are paid at an hourly rate.
- Group plans are described as ACA-compliant with comprehensive coverage on national PPO networks. Review the plan, network, deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, prescriptions, and premium before enrolling.
- Want everyday benefits like telemedicine and dental savings instead? See Independent Worker & Entrepreneur Benefits.
Eligibility and participation requirements apply, and premiums must be paid on time to keep coverage. Not currently available in AK, HI, MD, MN, NH, OR, VT, or WA. Alan Bush 360 does not determine eligibility, coverage, pricing, or enrollment.

Common questions
Questions about health coverage access.
Is this the same as individual health insurance?
No. Coverage comes through employer-sponsored group plans available to active Research Associates, not an individual policy. You pay the premium, and coverage depends on staying active and paying on time.
Is this a real job?
Yes. Research Associates are W-2 employees paid for completing short monthly health research activities. A W-2 is issued each year.
Does Alan Bush 360 provide this service directly?
No. Alan Bush 360 provides education and routing. The program operates separately and uses its own enrollment process and terms.
